The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) you have included the Beijing's Central Axis on its World Heritage list. This axis, initially laid out in the 13th century and shaped in the 16th century, runs north to south through the historic city of Beijing. Today, it has become the longest urban axis in the world, with a length of 7.8 km.
